CONFESSING JESUS
PRAYER OF SALVATION
Confessing Jesus as Lord and Saviour is the greatest part of a persons life. To be born again you have to consciously confess the Lordship of Jesus over your life; that’s the principle that guarantees salvation.
Say the prayer of salvation below and believe the words with conviction to receive Jesus as your Saviour
“Father God, I come before you humbly and admit that I have sinned and I truly repent of my unrighteousness. Lord, forgive me. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who shed His precious blood for me, died on the cross, was buried and was raised from the dead for the remission of my sins. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. Lord Jesus, I commit my life to you from this day forward and I thank you for saving me, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!”
If you have prayed this prayer of salvation then you are saved by grace through your faith.
Welcome to the Family of God. You are loved by God and have been grafted in His Kingdom by your faith in Jesus. You are now called to represent Him in this world and spread the good news with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 10:9 - "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
Ephesians 2:8 - “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God”
John 3:7 - “ye must be born again,”
Romans 10:8 - “…The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach”
